The Wuerhosaurus is an herbivorous dinosaur from the Lower Cretaceous period, whose name means Lizard from Wuerho. It had long and low plates and an arched back. The Wuerhosaurus was lower to the ground than most other stegosaurids, leading scientists to believe that this was an adaptation to let it feed on low-growing vegetation.
