2020 is a special year, as Steiff are celebrating their 140th Anniversary!!
Margarete Steiff made her first plush toy in 1880, which was a little felt elephant and since then millions of gorgeous plush and mohair bears and animals have made the journey from Giegen in Germany, to homes all around the world.
To commemorate this anniversary, Joseph Grizzly Bear is in a limited edition of 1880 and he has a special elephant logo on his chest tag.
He looks like he has come straight out of the deep forests of Canada, with his dark brown mohair coat, long, powerful body and distinctlively printed soles and paws. He also has a growler, as no grizzly bear would be complete without one!!
Limited to 1880 pieces
He has the famous gold plated "Button in Ear" and a white label with red writing, showing that he is only limited to 1880 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
