The calendar has 24 doors with silver foiled numbers on them for you to open throughout December, with a different miniature illustration behind each door. It is decorated with a beautiful illustration of woodland creatures frolicking in the snow together including deer, a fawn, a fox, a badger, squirrels, rabbits, robins and an owl. They are all painted in the watercolour styles that Wrendale is known for. The animals are set against a snowy forest scene with snowflakes falling and fir trees visible in the distance.

Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.
